Say what you need. A neighbour answers.

Most apps ask you to already know what you want and who sells it. Halqa asks the opposite: say the thing in your own words — "leaking tap in the kitchen", "maths tutor for class 8", "degh for 100 people on Friday" — and it opens the door of the neighbour, the shop or the professional who can answer, usually a few streets away.

Everything else in Halqa follows from that one idea. A shop is not a listing, it is a neighbour with a counter. A driver is not a supply unit, he is somebody on your road. And a colony is not a category — it is where you actually live.

Where it works

The same five steps are behind every part of Halqa. A barber's queue, a kiryana price list, a flat on rent and a plumber's quote are all the same shape wearing different clothes — which is why you never have to learn a second app.

Call anybody on Halqa, free, from anywhere.

Talking is faster than typing, and for somebody who reads slowly it is the only way that works. So Halqa carries the call itself — over the internet, at no cost, wherever in the world either of you happens to be. A son in Dubai and a mother in Lahore are the same call as two neighbours on one street.

Not in the beta yet
  • The demo you can open today shows the rules of a call — who may ring you, why, and when the line closes — but no voice travels yet. The sound is simulated.
  • Everything else on this page is already built: the permission circles, the reason a call needs, the two-hour close, and the promise that no number is ever shown.
What it costs
Nothing.It runs on your internet connection. No minutes, no bundle, no international rate.
Your number
Never shown, to anybody, ever.The call is routed by Halqa. A shopkeeper does not learn a woman's number because she ordered atta.
Who may call you
You choose, from six circles: family · friends · all my connections · whoever I am dealing with · anybody in my colony · nobody at all.The default is the quiet one — your connections and whoever you have a live order or trip with. Strangers are off unless you turn them on.
When a call is allowed
When you are connected, or when you are the two sides of a live order, job or trip. Not because somebody opened your circle.
When it stops
Two hours after the order or trip closes, the line between those two people closes with it.
Blocked
Blocked means blocked, both ways. There is no back door through a call.
And silence is a real answer

“Nobody — messages only” is one of the six choices and it costs nothing to pick. A person who does not want to be rung should not have to explain why.

Anchors, permissions to roam that end by themselves, four quiet alarms, and a safe way home that reports to guardians only.

Between two families, 18+ and ID-verified on both sides, nothing public and no private line between the two people.

Free, everywhere, with nobody's number shown.

The promises the code actually makes.

These are not slogans. Each one is a rule written into how Halqa behaves, and each is explained again on the page where it applies.

Halqa takes no cut
Not of an order, a fare, a rent or a sale. It holds none of your money and stands between nobody.
There are no advertisers
Nothing is sold to one, nothing is shown for one. A shop promotes itself with a post, not an ad bill.
Nothing is used to train anything
Your posts, pictures and messages are not training data.
Standing cannot be bought
Not with money, not with premium, not with advertising. Old points fade.
Halqa will not pretend
It will not invent a car to make a screen look busy, and it will not claim an accuracy it does not have.
Consent expires by itself
Anything you share — a location, an address, a picture — has an end written into it when it starts.
And some things it refuses, in every country
  • Sexual services, and dating of any kind. The rishta room, between two families, is the only door of that sort Halqa has.
  • Narcotics, weapons, gambling and betting.
  • Anything unlawful — and it will not pretend it did not understand the question.
  • Anything sexual involving a child, under any framing whatsoever. There is no artistic defence and no exception.

Thirteen and over, with the young ones protected.

Minimum age
13. Every account is verified by a one-time code to a telephone number — there are no unverified accounts.
13 to 17
Protected teen mode. No companionship and no matrimony features at all, and under-18 needs a guardian's consent.
Under 13
No account. A young child appears on Halqa only as somebody a named guardian is looking after — with a phone, a spare phone or a watch — and everything about her answers to that adult.
Rishta
18+ and ID-verified on both sides, with a named guardian on each. There is no way in without all four.
This is deliberate

A child's account answers to a guardian by design: the responsible adult can see it and can undo it. Halqa is not a social network for children and does not pretend to be one.
